Developing countries like India, has to caster to the imbalance of energy between the supply and demand in almost all the sector, so as to devise energy gifed to the mankind. The raising cost of electricity and the need to raise large resources to meat the requiered demand is only at the cost of other important assets of the country. This gap between demand and suply can be partially met by appropiate energy conservation schemes through energy audit a scientific approach for balancing the supply and demand. India has to go a long way ahead in it, therefore, energy audit has been initiated at vulnerable strategy in achieving energy conservation. The energy audit of Shrama Shakti Bhavan, an office compex at New Delhi, has been taken as a case study for this work..
