The purpose of this analysis is to demostrate that the prefeasibility report presented by the US Bureau of Reclamation to the Government of Nicaragua in May 1978, is harmful to the highest interests of our nation, because its conclusions present a false image of the economic merits of the project, and could lead to decisions that obstruct partially or totally, and forever, the abundant benefits of multiple nature that Nicaragua could obtain from an integral develoment or her great lakes
