The following is a market viability, national conditions and externalities report that evaluates the implementation plan of a sustainable market of Solar Water Heating -SWH- systems in Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Paraguay, Peru according to the TechScope -Solar water heating market readiness analysis Tool- developed by UNEP, CU Copper Alliance, GEF Global Environment Facility and UNDP. This study highlights how much geographic and macroeconomics factors, as for the access to markets and financing, are national factors robust enough to for the development of the SWH market and the potential of growth.
