The present guidelines define the criteria for submitting potential CDM projects to the Bolivian National Clean development Office (NCDMO), for the approval of the Designated National Authority (DNA), the Viceministry for Natural Resources and the Environment, and their subsequent submission to the Executive Board of the CDM. This document has seven sections. The first three sections define the principles, requirements and criteria that proposed CDM projects must fulfill for the reduction of GHG emissions and for the sustainable development criteria of Bolivia. The fourth section presents the cycle that CDM projects must follow. The fifth section defines the procedures for CDM project submission to the Bolivian NCDMO or DNA. The sixth section presents the procedures for the implementation of a CDM project. The seventh section specifies small-scale CDM projects. Finally, the Annex shows the organizational chart of the institutional framework for the CDM in Bolivia. [Extracto: Introduction]
