A comprehensive study of the performance, cost, and marketing aspects of a large windpower systeme integrated with an existing hydroelectric network has been accomplished for a high wind region in southern Wyoming. The study was carried out as a portion of the Western Energy Expansion Studies which are being conducted by the Bureau of reclamation to lool into the possibilities of uprating existing hydroelectric facilities and to provide optimum utilization of the hydroelectric resources and the power transmission network in the esteerns United States.
