With the valuable financial support of the Austrian Development Cooperation (ADA), was implemented the PALCEE project (Latin America and the Caribbean Energy Efficiency Program). The project´s primary objective is to reinforce the institutional framework in some countries in the region, in order to develop energy efficiency, grouping and organizing the activities that various institutional undertake, with the goal of incorporating them into national plans and converting them into long-term activities, providing them sustainability that has been absent in the efforts carried out by the majority of Latin America and the Caribbean countries
