This paper present the approach undertake and the for energy scenarios that have been development to support long term energy policy in Colombia. The scenarios were constructed with emphasis on maximum interaction between stakeholders in the Colombia energy sector. The scenarios were developed as strategic support tools for the Energy and Mining Planing Unit, wich is the Colombian institution in chage of developing the country's energy strategies and National Energy Policy.
