Find a subject. Read a general article. Formulate a temporaty thesis and a temporary outline. Prepare the preliminary bibiography. Take notes from relevant sources. Label notecards and revise working outline. Write the first draft. Revise the text, write introduction and conclusion. Fill in parenthetical reference or footnotes on draft. Put the paper in final form.
