v.2
There is a need for environmental action at the local level, but there is little solid information available for building public commitment, planning and decision making. One solution for resolving this contradiction is to apply the methodology for rapid urban environmental assessment that is proposed in this report. This second volume is composed of the tools that can be directly applied in the field by practitioners and researchers concerned with urban environmental problems. It consists of the questionnaire, generic profile and consultations guidelines that make up the methodology, and summaries of the information that they generated.
