We have recently lived through a crippling energy crisis with uncertain prices and supply. As a consequence technical people everywhere investigated and experimented with new types of energy, usually referned to as norn - conventional, renewable, etc. These research and development efforts continue today but at a slower pace. Each new type of energy will find its place in the economy of the world`s countries; and this place will differ from country, bacause of different resources and requirements. Geothermal, wind, solar, bioenergy, small hydroelectricity, ocean energies, and conservation.
