This preliminary national inventory provides a comprehensive picture of venezuelan greenhouse gas emissions and constitutes a powerful tool to evaluate and plan the best mitigation strategies that the country could develop to reduce and control its emissions levels. Nevertheless, some weaknesses and limitations still represent an important problem to be addressed in order to improve the reliability of the information used as well as the methodologies applied in some cases.
