The biogeochemistry of tropical forests is an important scientific challenge in two ways, namely their internal cycles and their role in global processes. Biogeochemistry has a lot to contribute to our understanding of how to save the great equatorial forest through intellingent use, as well as ways in wich to recuperate already granted land.
