The paper describes the methology used for the reserve evaluation of minerals, particulary of uramium, as used worldwide, and at Nuclebrás. The paper discusses a series of procedures envolving basic definitions, reserve evaluation methods, data management, use of computer systems, clasification of reserves as well as the results achieved.
