Venezuela possesses the seventh largest natural gas reserve in the world, and the largest of all Latin American countries. The country has manifested its interest in developing the gas industry for exportation. Many technologies have been developed necently for transporting natural gas to long - distance markets. New tchnologies like natural gas have proven to be less expensive than traditional technologies like liquefied natural gas.
