The Medsolar network, a cooperative mediterranean network of research and training institutions in solar energy, was stablished by the Unesco Engineering and Technology Division. The project called for the active participations of mediterranean institutions and the support of national and international agencies interested in the promotion of solar anergy alternatives most appropiate for rural applications.
