This paper presents standard energy balances tables used for the APEC energy database; six regions are modelled in the outlook including United States, Canada, Chile, Mexico, China, East Asia, Oceania, and Southeast Asia. The scenarios of the outlook are defined to include a business - as - usual baseline, environment friendly scenario, and protracted case scenario. The identified years of the outlook are 1995, 2000, 2005 and 2010.
