The objective of this project is to migrate the strategic planning software (PE) offered by GRUPO NOVATECH CÍA. LTDA., from a Client – Server architecture to a Software as a Service (SaaS) distribution model. The technology of cloud computing provides significant advantages to the services of any company. These advantages allow a better software management and therefore costumers will have a better service. This project will be divided into three layers: the database layer that will be the central repository of all the information, the business layer that will have all the logic of the services to be used, being the communication layer between the database layer and the next layer, called the presentation layer, that will be the interface with all users will interact (both client and provider). In order to do not make a high investment in acquiring the proprietary hardware to have an entire Data Center, this project will be completely centralized on an Infrastructure as a Service architecture (IaaS). For this, an analysis will be also carried out among different public cloud service providers. This project will be used fictitious information to avoid compromising the privacy of the company or of its clients.

El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo realizar la migración del software de planificación estratégica (PE) que ofrece la empresa GRUPO NOVATECH CÍA. LTDA., desde una arquitectura Cliente – Servidor hacia un modelo de distribución Software as a Service (SaaS). La tecnología del cloud computing provee ventajas significativas a los servicios de las empresas, estas permiten una mejor gestión, lo que refleja un mejor servicio prestado a sus clientes. El presente trabajo está dividido en tres capas: la capa de base de datos que será el repositorio central de toda la información, la capa de negocio que tendrá toda la lógica de los servicios a usarse siendo la comunicación entre la capa de base de datos y la siguiente capa, la capa de presentación que será la interfaz con la que los usuarios (tanto cliente como proveedor) van a interactuar. Para que la empresa no haga una gran inversión en adquirir el hardware propietario y tener un Data Center, este trabajo se centrará sobre una arquitectura Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) contratada, también se realizará un análisis entre diferentes proveedores de servicios cloud públicos. Realizándose con información ficticia para no comprometer la privacidad de la empresa ni a ninguno de sus clientes.
