This activity consists on the creation of a research group at ITCR in the field of applications of carbon nanotubes nanotechnology. For that, this activity was carried in parallel to the research project “Carbon Nanotubes: Synthesis, Characterization and Potential Applications”, and consists on a feasibility study for production of carbon nanotubes for commercial and academic activities, a diagnosis of application areas in agreement with the research areas of ITCR areas of commercial interest and training activities for ITCR´s personnel. In addition to that, short term application fields of carbon nanotubes were diagnosed in order to find market niches for strategic alliances with industry and academic cooperation with national and foreign universities and institutions.
