Special issue for the lyon preparatory confrence for CoP6, 11 - 15 september 2000.- This first special JIQ issue related to the CoP6 negotiations was prepared for the 13th sessions of SBSTA/SBI (lyon, France, 11 - 15 september 2000). It addresses a number of key questions related to the Kyoto mechanisms and elaborates on possible policy options.- This issue is distributed free-ofcharge thanks to the sponsorship of the netherlands' ministry of housing, spatial planning and enviroment.- The views expressed in this issue are solely those of the JIQ editors.
