Análisis y recomendación de parámetros y materiales para el diseño de ambiente protegido para la reproducción de café por medios asexuales en la empresa Micro Plantas, ubicada en Desamparados de Alajuela

2018

Proyecto de Graduación (Licenciatura en Ingeniería Agrícola) Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica, Escuela de Ingeniería Agrícola, 2018.

Modern agriculture is characterized by using technologies that provide quality products and their crops can be obtained throughout the year. One of those tools that facilitate the production of common crops, but with alternative options, such as the acquisition of seedlings from cuttings of mother plants, are greenhouses. Due to the demand for coffee seedlings of varieties such as geisha, which have led the country to be at the top of high quality contests, the company develops the project of sale of vegetative propagated cuttings. Currently, it has a slightly deteriorated structure and the need to build another work that is specifically designed for that purpose is seen. The greenhouse design has the dimensions, style of truss, canoe design and high quality materials, which offer the ideal conditions for the installation of mini gardens and mini tunnels. The project is economically viable; its construction is considered a good investment for the company.
