The Secretaría Técnica of the CGR has the idea to improve of monitory and control in the audit function, with a new project of implementing another Business Intelligence tool. Nevertheless, they tried to propound it without success, so they transfer the idea to external person. Given the above, this paper has the goal to create a Project Plan to implementing a Business Intelligence tool. There is a previous phase in two steps, first to know the understand in project management and business analyst. Second, with the initial request, look for the better tool in the market, and select the best for the institution. The Project Plan was created for the tool recommended, with the secondary plans and all the project life cycle. Besides, has been created the most important templates to conclude with success the project, which include a training about business analytics and the Power BI PRO licenses. The tool does not have all the initial request of the sponsor, but is best option to the institution and he was agreed with that. The Secretaría Técnica will take help of an external consult and an internal PM certificated. In spite of they don’t work administrating projects, the main recommendation is to learn more about project, and use it in the creation business cases and improve in topics like baselines. That can increase the internal goals.
