The Company ARISTA is a regional organization founded in 1986 in Guatemala with the idea to provide adequacy and interior space design service. Besides Guatemala, currently the company is located in Honduras, El Salvador, Panama, Colombia and Costa Rica. Over the years the goal of the company was expanded to dedicate in consulting, sales, installation and furniture adjustment, and constructive elements for office spaces and commercial environments. In Costa Rica, the company started working in the year of 1998. There are project management deficiencies within the Operations Department of the company ARISTA de Costa Rica. As a company dedicated to project development, successful projects are essential. With the approach of this Methodological Guideline, it is intended to implement project managing standardization. The project is presented in two major stages, wherein the first stage the organization current project managing status is identified; maturity analysis, and Strength, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) assessments are performed, and existing tools and procedures are identified within the Company ARISTA de Costa Rica. The next stage of the project is the Methodological Guideline proposal, which tries to solve the problems encountered during the diagnosis. Results from the maturity analysis and the SWOT analysis show that the company has tools that do not make a Guideline and the company has a very low maturity assessment in all the criteria that the tool evaluates. The Guideline presented for the Project Management of the Company ARISTA de Costa Rica provides a number of methods, techniques and tools adapted to the needs of the company and to its operation. It is expected that this guide adapts to the regular work role of the company for a more efficient project management. After the guide use is implemented, it will be calibrated with actual requirements found in the daily routine.
