Determinación del comportamiento de la semilla de arroz (Oryza sativa L) variedad Puitá INTA CL, sometida a diferentes estimulantes radiculares, Filadelfia, Guanacaste, Costa Rica.

2016

The cultivation of rice is one of the main activities that are carried out in the province of Guanacaste, Costa Rica, so it is obtained by carrying out an investigation that consisted in the use of root stimulants which try to help the plant before the multiple Factors that affect their performance, the ability of plants to absorb and achieve a good development. To study the productivity aspects, several experiments were carried out on plastic trays with plastic sheeting and a field test using rice seeds, Puita INTA CL variety, which were subjected to different treatments with 3 chemical root stimulants (Raizplant® 500 , Razormin and Raykat®), 2 organic (Rooting® and Bioeco Rooting) and 1 of control to which no root stimulant was applied. In the tests of the rice seed in plastic tray, the evaluation comprised a period of 15 days and the variations of the treatments in the roots during its germination phase were evaluated, germination speed was measured in days, percentage of germination and the Radicle length, it was possible to determine that the treatments T1 and T4 showed better results in the studied variables, thus showing a better performance. In the field phase, the evaluation comprised 120 days and the plant growth variables, such as stem length (cm), number of leaves, number and length of panicle (cm), and finally Yield per square meter in (g / m2 ). It was determined that Raizplant® 500 treatments at 15 ml / L and Raykat® at 15 ml/l showed better development in the vegetative phase and in production, in all variables evaluated in comparison to the control, these two treatments in the germination phase presented Greater length of stem in (cm), greater number of leaves and greater production, The results suggest that the use of root stimulators improves aspects of germination and growth of rice plants of the studied variety as well as their yield per m2.
