As an important part of the developing of new technologies and creative ways of building habitational solutions, a multidisciplinary team form the Instituto Tecnologico de Costa Rica participated in the Solar Decathlon, the most important competition regarding solar energy and sustainable construction, on its 2014th edition in France. The project that this team designed for the competition was named Tropika, a versatile habitational module that it’s designed according to the cultural characteristics from our country, and had to be assembled in 10 days in Versailles, France, to participate in this competition. This report shows the way that the most adequate assembly process for this module was established, based on a multiple variables previously analyzed, according to the construction projects administration concepts and using as the main input the assembly test previously realized in our country.
