Actually, in a assembly’s plant is important to have a strict control of the production, this is for improve the quality of the products and the operator’s efficiency. This kind of factory is divided in many sections or modules. Each section does a part of the production, as instead: the insertion of buttons, sew sleeves, do the buttonholes, etc. In each section, there are a supervisor who does a registry of the production of the day. This registry consists of a sheet that contains a table, the operator has to fill in this table with the required data. Some of this information is the operator’s name, quantity of production with problems, product’s code, quantity of good among others. The main goal with this terminal is to get easily the information related to the production from each production’s line in real time. We pretend to put terminals in each plant’s section, this terminals will be connected to a personal computer. The person in charge of each section uses the terminal for introducing the required data, for this he uses a barcode card or by a keyboard located in each terminal. The terminal keeps the data, then the computer asks for the information using a communication’s port.
