The study of atmospheric corrosion in the area of influence of the PGM is based on the summary and interpretation of the norms about corrosivity, therefore what was made was to establish a procedure series for each one of the following points: The definition of the meteorological variables of study that you/they could influence in the corrosivity which are: precipitation, pH, relative humidity, temperature, address and speed of the wind, which are given by the Center of Basic Services of Engineering in an annual way. As for pollutants the concentration of: H2S: settled for an automatic station. SO2: settled down by the Norma Cuban 12-01-08 Cl -: settled down by the Norma ISO 9225 and the procedure of the humid candle. The places where the stations were placed they correspond some to properties of the one it HOISTS, properly in wells, and others in properties in near towns to the PGM, with the end to establish a comparison procedure among the areas. According to the gathered meteorological data and compared with the monitored stations you arrived to that the area of the PGM possesses a temperature I average yearly relatively stable, also that the relative humidity averages yearly it is bigger to 75% what favors the conditions to begin the process of corrosion, also that the precipitation averages yearly it is similar in the near stations to the volcano. Lastly all the procedures and formats of summary of data were left in leaves of calculation of EXEL as much as for each report of the laboratory, as well as for the categorization of the different obtained values.
