“Red de sensores inalámbricos para la monitorización, transmisión y almacenamiento de datos con el propósito de optimizar el tratamiento de desechos orgánicos en un biorreactor”

2012

One goal of The Chemical Faculty and Environmental Engineering at the Technological Institute of Costa Rica is find environmentally friendly solutions for the development of the country and the region by incorporating scientific and technological knowledge in applied chemistry and environment. As contribution of the environment, this faculty has joint projects with other schools, including Electronic Engineering Faculty, which combine the two disciplines in order to contribute to the development of projects in the environmental area through the prevention, minimization, control and mitigation of environmental problems and the solutions approach through research and extension. In a bioreactor project, which aims to ferment organic waste to produce rich gases like CH4, CO2, NH3 and NO, you need to know their values, in addition to variables such as temperature, oxygen, pH, moisture and pressure for optimum system performance. A biorreactor is a system designed to solve the energy and environmental problems of our time, using human and animal waste.
