The book itself consists of four main parts. Chapter 1 Is an introduction to the various aspects of water quality surveys; the second part, describes the factors affecting water quality as applicable to all types of water bodies, (Charters 3-6) is devoted to the techniques generally applicable to sampling, analyzing, and data treatment; the last part (chapter 7-10) emphasizes the special features of water quality surveys in different types of water bodies, such as streams, lakes, etc.
