2017
Proyecto de Graduación (Licenciatura en Ingeniería en Mantenimiento Industrial) Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica. Escuela de Ingeniería Electromecánica, 2017.
A maintenance management system is proposed for the Plant in Cartago of Gas Tomza de Costa Rica S. A., to know the impact of maintenance on the organization. Initially an analysis of the current situation is shown then the management approach is defined by the maintenance management model based on the ISO 9001:2008 standard and the equipment is characterized. Subsequently, a criticality analysis of the equipment is made and a pilot plan of preventive maintenance for the critical equipment in the production process is proposed, which includes the routines and procedures that must be followed, as well as the manpower requirements. The proposed management should be controlled through an information system, which will be the main source of data for decision making. The efficiency of the management will be measured by means of a system of indicators. It will also include a cultural change strategy to implement the proposal.
The development of the management system will be based on bibliographic sources and applicable regulations, both for the type of production process and for maintenance strategies, such as NFPA 58 and Decree no. 28622.
